San Juan – Early this morning, staff from each of Atlantis Healthcare Group’s 16 kidney treatment units conducted routine inspections. It was reported that all units are in optimal condition to provide dialysis treatments to their patients.
Starting at 4:30 a.m., managers, biophysicians, and essential health workers began their rounds, inspecting both the physical plant and the water conditions. This enabled many units to begin receiving and providing treatment to kidney patients at 9:30 a.m., much earlier than anticipated.
Atlantis social workers are actively contacting patients assigned to each of the units to ensure that each of them, whose treatment is scheduled for today, receives the appropriate treatment.
We remind patients that if they experience a health emergency, they should go to the nearest hospital or health center.
